LONGi Hi-MO X6 modules help China's airport PV projects
Safety at airports: The primary reason for using these modules at airports is to prevent sun glare that could interfere with pilots' vision during takeoffs and landings.
Reduced reflectivity: Testing by the China National Center of Supervision and Inspection on Solar Photovoltaic Product Quality (CPVT) showed that LONGi's Hi-MO X6 modules have up to 74.5% lower reflectivity than conventional TOPCon dual-glass modules, and a 99.28% reduction in the brightness of the busbar area.
High performance: The Hi-MO X6 modules are also designed for high efficiency, using back contact cell technology to maximize power generation while meeting safety requirements.
Project implementation: LONGi has announced the installation of these anti-glare modules at an airport in China, specifically addressing the needs of sensitive locations like airports.
