Aiko ABC Releases Latest Field Data, Demonstrates Consistent Power Generation Advantages Across Multiple Scenarios
Aiko’s Latest Field Data Confirms Strong Power Gains of ABC Modules Across Multiple Scenarios
Aiko’s next-generation ABC (All Back Contact) modules have once again proven their real-world performance. According to the latest third-party verified data from demonstration sites in Tianjin (Jizhou), Jiangsu (Nanjing), and Shandong (Yantai), ABC modules consistently outperformed TOPCon modules across diverse application scenarios. The cumulative power generation gain per kilowatt ranged from 1.26% to 5.19%, further validating the ABC series’ high adaptability and superior energy yield under real-world conditions.
Tianjin (Jizhou): Residential Rooftops See Clear Power Gains
In a residential rooftop project in Tianjin’s Jizhou district, Aiko’s 665W dual-glass ABC modules were tested against 630W TOPCon dual-glass modules, both installed at a 20° tilt. The area experiences wide seasonal temperature variations, posing a challenge for module stability and performance.
Thanks to its high conversion efficiency and innovative full-back-contact design, the ABC module maintained stable power generation throughout the seasons. Results showed a 1.26% gain in energy yield per kilowatt and a 6.89% gain per square meter, offering better long-term economic returns and a cleaner energy experience for residential users.
Jiangsu (Nanjing): High-Efficiency Power for Industrial Rooftops
In an industrial rooftop installation in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, the ABC module once again stood out. Industrial users prioritize maximum energy output per unit area—and ABC delivers.
With a 5° tilt, the project compared 640W ABC dual-glass modules with 615W TOPCon counterparts. The results were clear: ABC modules achieved a 1.81% higher energy yield per kilowatt and a 5.95% gain in energy per unit area, making them a cost-effective solution for commercial and industrial (C&I) clients aiming to lower power costs and maximize roof utility.
Shandong (Yantai): Built for Harsh Coastal Conditions
In Yantai’s offshore photovoltaic pilot, Aiko’s ABC modules proved their resilience in extreme marine environments characterized by high salinity, humidity, and fluctuating temperatures.
The project used 0°-tilt installations of 635W ABC dual-glass modules and 580W TOPCon dual-glass modules on a near-shore platform, collecting DC-side data under identical conditions. The ABC modules’ copper interconnect design demonstrated strong resistance to microcracks and corrosion, while its lower temperature coefficient ensured stable output even under thermal stress.
The results were remarkable: the ABC module achieved a 5.19% gain in energy yield per kilowatt and a 10.14% gain per square meter—a powerful testament to its reliability and long-term performance in offshore PV applications.
All-Scenario Adaptability for a Net-Zero Future
From residential rooftops to industrial facilities and marine platforms, Aiko’s ABC modules continue to deliver superior, real-world performance thanks to disruptive design and leading efficiency.
The verified data from Tianjin, Nanjing, and Yantai demonstrates that ABC modules consistently offer stable and high energy gains across diverse geographies and climates. As Aiko deepens its investment in technological innovation, ABC modules will remain central to its mission of delivering efficient, reliable, and future-proof photovoltaic solutions—empowering global clients in the journey toward a sustainable, net-zero future.
