In 2024, South Africa, JUWI Project Director Richard Doyle and a JA Solar representative signed a module supply agreement to deliver 420,000 DeepBlue 4.0 Pro panels for two 220MW solar projects. Driven by South Africa’s push for energy transition, JA Solar was selected after rigorous technical evaluation. The projects are set to be connected to the grid by the end of 2026, providing clean electricity and reducing CO₂ emissions by 625,000 tons annually.
