Recent News and Developments: Strong Presence at Exhibitions and Major Projects
Participation in Solar & Storage Live Egypt 2025
As part of its commitment to supporting Egypt's clean energy transition, Trinasolar participated in the Solar & Storage Live Egypt exhibition held in Cairo in April 2025. The company showcased a range of innovative solutions specifically designed for the region, including high-efficiency bifacial modules such as the Vertex N 630W and Vertex N 720W, alongside the "Anti-Dust Mono Facial Module" featuring a patented frame optimized for desert environments.
The participation extended beyond solar modules to include the next-generation energy storage system Elementa 2 Pro, designed to withstand extreme heat, humidity, and grid fluctuations. Vincent Wu, Vice President of Global Sales and Head of Trinasolar's MEA Business Unit, stated: "At Trinasolar, we take pride in supporting Egypt's sustainable energy vision by delivering high-efficiency solar modules and advanced storage systems engineered to operate in the region's unique climate and grid conditions."
The Abydos Mega Ener
Trinasolar's partnership with AMEA Power marks a milestone in the African energy sector, as the companies collaborate on the Abydos Battery Energy Storage System project in Aswan. This project represents Africa's largest solar PV energy storage facility and Egypt's first utility-scale energy storage project.
Trinasolar is supplying 300 MWh of the Elementa 2 storage platform (with 5 MWh units) for this historic
project, which successfully passed factory acceptance testing in China, with equipment shipping
commencing in February 2025. This project enhances grid stability and energy resilience throughout Egypt
and the broader MEA region.
